COUPLES THERAPY
Partnerships and relationships can be powerful sources of fulfillment and joy—but they also require a lot of work. So, whether you and your significant other are trying to resolve a serious conflict, or simply looking to build upon what great foundation you’ve already laid down, couples sessions can provide a space for healthy growth, together.
FAQ About Couples Therapy
-
Couples sessions can provide unique opportunities for partners to better understand their relationship needs, goals, and concerns. By opening up old and new lines of communication, partners learn about how best to serve both the needs of their partner and their own within the relationship.
-
Anything discussed with your therapist during session is confidential, with very few exceptions. Our clinicians follow strict professional codes of ethics and are fully compliant with HIPAA laws to ensure that your information and content remains private. Within couples therapy, partners agree to full transparency between the couple and the therapist, and no information shared with the therapist by one partner is kept from the other partner.
-
Couples sessions are typically scheduled for once a week, but more frequent sessions are possible depending on need. Your therapist will workout a schedule that works best for your partnership, so both of you can attend sessions consistently to make the most progress.
