Jocelyn Stern, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has been working in the mental health field for over 9 years. I have extensive experience across various behavioral health settings which include inpatient, partial hospital, intensive outpatient, case management, telehealth, individual therapy, and primary care settings. I have experience working with adults who may be dealing with symptoms of Depression, Anxiety, life stressors, relationship conflict, and mood disorders.
My goal is to establish a collaborative relationship with each client, as I believe that each individual is the expert in their own lives. I strive to provide a safe environment in order to build a trusting relationship where people feel seen, heard, and understood. I will work with you to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs. I use evidence -based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. My goal is to assist you along your journey of self-discovery by identifying emotions that may be too difficult to process on your own, develop healthy coping strategies to deal with these distressing emotions, and assist you in identifying negative emotions or behavioral patterns in order to reshape them into a healthier version of yourself.
